After more than 20 years as a full-time financial planner, Susan’s primary focus is now education and training. She brings her unique and transformational programs to the public through speaking engagements, workshops, retreats and web-based programs. Susan serves the financial planning profession as member FPA’s National Board of Directors and has trained planners for pro bono work with 9/11 families, as well as for hurricane recovery work. She also serves on the NFL Players Association’s Financial Education Advisory Board.

My husband and I moved to Florida from New York this past March, where I lived most of my life (I'm originally from Brazil). My last job was working for the President of Mitsui & Co., USA, Inc. as his executive assistant and also personal assistant to his wife. While I thoroughly enjoyed my life in NYC, my husband and I had dreamed of living in Florida for a long time and the opportunity was too good to pass up. I met Susan on my first day as a full-time resident of Florida and the rest is history!

In a previous life, Phyllis was the Music Director for a small Private school in rural Iowa. Her choirs rocked the house! She was on the Iowa Arts Council Roster of Artists and gave performances, songwriting workshops and residencies for thousands of children across the state to great reviews for over 12 years.
Now, after diving into the virtual world of the Internet, she has developed ecommerce stores, developed marketing plans, designed websites, and basically been assimilated into the ether-world.
